Your plan can use more than one column. Many patients start with medication, and some later add a procedure with the same team.

Dr. Reza Keshavarzi, known to patients as Dr. K, is a board-certified bariatric surgeon and a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. He performs the gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, ESG and ORBERA gastric balloon, and he oversees our medical weight loss program. That range lets him tell you when medication is enough and when it is not.
Patients often mention how reachable he is. He contacts patients from his own cell phone and answers questions throughout treatment.
Your plan moves at the pace your body responds.
He reviews your health history, current medications, past weight loss attempts and goals. You leave knowing whether medication, a procedure or a combination makes sense for you.
Dr. K orders any tests he needs to complete your health picture before medication starts.
Our weight loss specialists set your medication, nutrition targets and support. Dr. K signs off on the plan and stays responsible for it.
Progress is tracked and the plan is adjusted as your weight changes, with guidance by text between visits.
If weight loss stalls or your goal is larger, Dr. K can discuss the balloon, ESG or a sleeve with you. GLP-1 injections are stopped at least two weeks before any surgery, and he plans that timing for you.
The cost of a medical weight loss plan depends on the medication, the dose and how much coaching and follow-up you need. That is why we price your plan after Dr. K has reviewed your health, rather than quoting one number for everyone.
