Dr. Reza Keshavarzi, MD, FACS, FASMBS
Chief Bariatric Surgeon
Is a board-certified general surgeon who is fellowship trained in Minimally Invasive & Bariatric Surgery. He graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine with high honors in 2005 and embarked on his residency in general surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. Dr. Keshavarzi also completed a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy, Bariatric & Robotic surgery at Jackson South Community Hospital.
He is board-certified in General Surgery, Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He’s a member of several professional societies including the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), American College of Surgeons (ACS), The American Medical Association (AMA) and Florida Medical Association (FMA) and a Fellow the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric (ASFMBS).
Dr. Rose Huber, Psy.D.
Chief Clinical & Bariatric Psychologist
Dr. Rose Huber is a fellowship trained bariatric psychologist. She offers patients of Miami VIP Surgery counseling regarding their bariatric decisions and lifestyle changes. Our Clinical Psychologist is an expert in the field of mental health. We know clients want an expert in the field and that is what we provide, the highest standard.
Quality of care is our objective in every psychological evaluation we conduct. Our grasp on understanding the clients’ goals, helps prepare patients mentally for the challenges that lay ahead. We help them recognize the potential barriers ahead so they can be best prepared.
